In the very near future we will offer a place here to Metal Detect here at Someplace
Special.
Due to popular requests about Detecting for the Gold and Silver here at the mine, we have decided
to offer a chance to find hidden treasure for your self.
Over the years , the grounds here at the old farm have been used for a number of different
things. There have been several old houses built and torn down , as well as several old barns that have been torn down.
In addition , the fields have played host to a ton of activity, including, cultivation , an old spring that provided the water
for the surrounding area and lots of reunions in times past.
There has even been evidence that the area was settled before my great grandfather purchased
the land by both european settlers and native american tribes. The result is , inluding the small gold and silver
nuggets that are found here , tons of relics and artifacts are waiting to be found in the ground here.
So far , there have been gold nuggets,silver nuggets, old coins dating to over 200 years
old , cannon balls and bullets fired during the Cival War, as well as bits of harness , belt buckles
parts of old mess kits and lots of other relics from the past.
The way this will work is simple, For a fee, we will allow you to take your detector out
to the battlefield and search for lost gold and silver. As always, what ever you find is yours to keep.
The cost to hunt is $20.00 a day for each detector . So dust off the treasure
stick and get ready to do some serious treasure hunting at Someplace Special
